In fact, I can see perfectly well how I would have truly enjoyed this book as a younger child; there is a crafted balance between the enigmatic art of Meggie’s father and company, and the otherwise relatable and insignificant settings. However, her way of bringing that imagination to life is not only incredibly unique, but also resonates well with her young audience.

This novel, however, turns that concept on its head; rather than readers diving into their favorite books, the characters in Inkheart jump out into the real world. He is husband to Resa who got read into the book Inkheart when Mo accidentally read Capricorn and Basta out along with Dustfinger.

Tintenhez, after coincidentally talking to a colleague about this book I made up my mind about reading it, and I am glad to say I have not been disappointed. It also served as a tool to inspire her own creative process. Don’t have a Kindle? Then Capricorn wants that Mo reads him back into Inkheart but Mo refuses.
